NEW MINI SUPERLEGGERA VISION

This is the concept of the new Mini Superleggera. The translation of Superleggera means superlight, so as you’d imagine, this concept features lots of lightweight materials, and is stripped of all the non-essentials.

We’re not sure why BMW felt the need to team up with coach builders Touring Superleggera, but in doing so they undoubtedly hoped to bring some of the Italian companies style and panache to the little motor. Touring Superleggera seemed keen to express the little icons British roots, with the rear light clusters resembling the Union Jack, and several little touches of Britishness throughout the car. One feature that definitely isn’t British is the rear fin.
