CAR PARTS PUT TO GOOD USE!

 

We know only too well the usefulness of car parts and spares, but enterprising artist, Tom Samui, has come up with some uses we would never have thought of.

He accepts commissions to build anything from 1 metre to 10 metres in size. The bigger sculptures featured here take around 400 man hours of work to finish. Once a month Tom and his team travel around scrap yards collecting old car and motorcycle parts for their project. All of the parts are painstakingly cleaned and catalogued. Once welded they are treated with a special anti-rust lacquer.
