British Motorists Perfect Car

Privilege car insurance commissioned Professor Peter Hancock from the University of Sterling to create an image of the nations perfect car. Why Professor Hancock? Apparently he is an expert on the psychological analysis of images.

Charlotte Fielding of Privilege car insurance, who commissioned this trip into motoring insanity, had this to say on the project “Everyone likes to talk about what their dream car would look like, but not everyone can live that dream. This got us thinking: if costs like the purchase price and insurance weren’t a factor, what would the perfect car look like? Now we know, and the results are really striking.”

It took over three months to compile the data from over 2000 Brits. They also claim specialist software and an algorithm were used.

Some parts of the vehicle are easily recognisable, like the Aston Martin front end. Other parts are a little less obvious, such as the C4 Picasso’s wing mirrors.
